Do you offer in-person or online sessions?
 I offer sessions in person at my Newburgh, NY office.

What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to the full session fee.

What happens during the initial consultation?
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to get a sense of what’s bringing you to therapy. On this call, we’ll decide whether to schedule our first session or I’ll provide you with referrals.

What payment methods do you accept?
I accept major credit cards and Zelle.

Do you take insurance?
Yes. I am currently an in-network provider for Aetna, United Healthcare, and Oxford.

How long are sessions?
A standard individual therapy session is 45 minutes.

Can I contact you between sessions?
Yes, you may call or email me for non-urgent matters such as scheduling. I will respond within two business days.

What should I do if I’m in crisis?
I am not able to provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in immediate danger or thinking of harming yourself, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988.

How often will we meet?
Most clients meet weekly, but we can adjust frequency based on your needs and goals.

Is therapy confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy is confidential. The only exceptions are rare situations where I am legally required to break confidentiality, such as if you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or others, or in cases of suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly, or vulnerable adult.

What if I have out-of-network benefits?
If you have a plan with out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Contact your insurance provider to confirm your plan’s reimbursement rate, deductible, and mental health coverage.
